WIng and a Prayer

Here is hoping that the Democratic primary finally comes to a conclusion tonight.

Go Obama! I hope you pull off an upset tonight.

Roy,
Is there any way I could convince you fine people to vote for Ralph Nader in the general election?
Best,

Oh, thank you. I really needed a good laugh.

Oh that is funny.

(Well you might be able to talk me into it, if Clinton steals the nomination)

Nader? Please. It might be irrational, but I blame him for getting us into this mess in the first place. Especially since I know people who voted for Nader instead of Gore since they didn't think Bush would do so well.

I'm much more likely to vote for Pat Paulsen than I ever would for Nader.

I forgot to mention--the conspiracy theorist in me is convinced that Nader's campaign are financed in part by Republicans, specifically to split the Independent and Progressive vote.

I know a handful of people that voted for Nader IN Florida. I had just lived there less than a year before the election.

I know in my mind that it wasn't Nader's fault. His principals and motives were spot on BUT my heart still feels differently.

Since then, I am not entirely sure of his motives. I am afraid that he has fallen into the trap that many fall into. He has found himself surrounded by supporters for so long, that he has lost touch with the broader picture. His perspective is skewed.

Just thinking about the conclusion of that election sends shivers down my spine.
