Well it is official. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, Lexington is the worst city in America for seasonal allergies. Take that Louisville with your pathetic showing of 21st.
If you are interested in seeing if your city shows up in the Top 100, here is the link.

I'm glad the link clarified "spring" allergies. Phoenix is 91 on the list, but I bet we're much further ahead for asthma caused by pollution.
You haven't lived until you've seen the brown haze stretch 30 miles across the Valley.
Gah! I knew I felt like this for a reason. Ya know what's really sad? I never even had allergies until I moved to Lexington.
here's a helpful hint kids...a teaspoon of local honey every day builds up your resistance to local allergens. i use honey either in my tea or on my cereal every day and there's only been one time in the last ten or more years when the pollen has gotten me.
ps, i dont have a city, but there's a big red dot right near me on that map....and my truck is YELLOW right now lol
Our city is in the top 50 -- my husband and children are miserable right now. I was luckily not "blessed" with such allergy concerns -- or at least not bad enough to complain about it.
Sometimes I think we keep the Kleenex people in business.
